/VERDICT/
Black Rouge never cease to amaze me when it comes to their packaging, it’s gorgeous as always. Its box has a pretty print on it of purple flowers, matching the blue box and the collection that this tint is a part of. The only down side is that it doesn’t have any English translation printed on it, however, Charis has it all covered because they have indicated on their ad some information about the product in English, so it’s all good. The container is equally pretty with its frosted and double walled bottle with a blue reflective twist cap. They also had the brand name printed directly on the box with the same color of the cap which added a very nice touch. With regards to its scent, it has a fruity scent to it, almost similar to a peach which I’m not a fan of but it’s toned down and not making me dizzy like the typical peach scent.

Smooth is an understatement when talking about my experience when applying this product. The applicator is spade shaped making it easier to reach the corners of my lips properly; it also gets an ample amount of the product so you won’t have to double dip the wand and it’s really soft on the lips when you glide it. Moving on to its comfortablity, it’s just the way as I remembered it with the first Airfit Velvet Tint of theirs that I’ve tried before. It’s super lightweight, like you have nothing on your lips and it doesn’t dry my lips at all. It even felt moisturizing on my lips, if you ask me. It’s light on the cheeks as well and didn’t trigger any breakouts or unexpected pimple where I applied it on or even stained the area where I originally put the product before blending.

The texture of this product is my most favorite about this tint. It’s the creamiest, dreamiest and loveliest formula of tint I’ve ever tried with a very pretty velvet finish to it. It’s the perfect amount of velvet in terms of visuals and even the feeling of it on the lips. Every time I use it, it makes my lips look so soft, supple and kissable. It also has a blurring effect which is something good for my lips as it’s normally dry. The product is also pigmented so I didn’t have to put so much on even if I want to achieve a fuller or more opaque color payoff but either way, it’s still buildable. It can also be blended easily which is why it’s ideal to be used as blush or eyeshadow as well. There is zero to minimal transfer especially when it hasn’t settle on the lips fully or depending on how thick the layer is applied but it’s not so bothersome for me as I prefer natural looking or gradient look on the lips which doesn’t require too much amount of the product. Lastly, I know everyone is most interested when it comes to lip products is whether they are long lasting or not. This one lasts extremely long on the lips, even on the cheeks! I’ve worn it several times and observed it from morning to night, after numerous of meals and snacks in between, it stayed strong. And even after it faded, it leaves a very pretty stain on the lips. If I’m going to put a time on how long it stayed, it’s roughly 8 hours or more. That’s how good its staying power is.

This collection or Season 6 of their Airfit Velvet Tint series has a total of 5 shades and to be honest, I was torn between this shade, which is A31 or the A32 which is more on the brown side but to be safe, I chose this one because it was the first one that caught my eye while checking out the shade range. And I’m glad that I got this because it’s the perfect shade to use all day, every day. It’s also a shade that’s perfect for those who love doing gradient lip like me. This product originally retails for P690 / $13.8 but it’s now down to P600 / $12 because your girl here is a Charis Celeb and it’s available on my Charis Shop. I know it’s pricey for lip products but trust me, there are other products that cost way more than this but they can’t win the quality of this one. It’s definitely the best velvet tint that you could ever find from a Korean brand. EVER. I still believe that Black Rouge and their Airfit Velvet Tints are so underrated because they are amazing, words aren’t enough. That’s how much I love their tints and how obsessed I am with their tints. Two years since I first tried their tint and until now, it still has a special place in my heart. That’s how amazed I am and you will too, once you gave this brand a try. It’s all worth it! I promise!

SUPER RECOMMENDED! ✨
