/VERDICT/
The scent of these are like bubblegum similar to their Pocket Blushes that i recently reviewed and it really suit my liking as it is very mild for me. Applying these is one of the most commendable because it glides smoothly without the need of putting too much pressure or effort to it. Especially on the cheeks, i just dab the product and voila! I get the nice blush color that i want!
Some say that tinted lip balms especially those with matte finish compromises the comfort / moisture of the lips but with this one, not even a single bit that i felt that my lips were getting uncomfortable nor dry. And texture wise, the formula is perfect! It's buttery which for me, is better than the normal / typical lip balms we all grew up to. It doesn't feel tacky or anything, nothing less than awesome! Lightweight as i only had to swipe a bit or even dab if i want a lighter color payoff on the lips. The swatches on the photo are just one swipe! Believe it or not, that's how pigmented they are and downright moisturizing! Exactly the same how Skin Foundry expect and market their product to begin with!
I tested these one shade a day and roughly, they last approximately 7 hours and they don't just easily fade away. 7 hours is long enough as they more of creamy matte finish and i eat huge meals for lunch and dinner but it didn't faze these wonderful balms! They initially launched these 6 shades and recently launched a new one, so they have a total of 7 shades and retails for P150 / $3 each! Such a good deal for such amazing product! It's definitely one of my favorites and would suggest as it is worth it to buy! By the way, the shades are all beautiful and wearable but my most favorite and abused ones are "Nine to Five" which is a nude shade perfect for everyday, " Red Mimosa" and "Coral Kiss" as they compliment my undertone and skintone the best especially on the cheeks and "Spiced Latte" when i want to do dark lips for a change. Skin Foundry is just a newly established / opened local brand in the Philippines and i would say that this brand has a potential! They really made an effort from the labels, formula and even the names of the shade which is one of the hardest part of it all as so many lip balms are being sold in the market making it difficult for local start-up brands to be unique and noticed! But i'm going to say already, they will make it big in the beauty industry as they don't mismarket or exaggerate what their products can deliver! Undoubtedly earned a spot in my heart! ♡
