/VERDICT/
This the first time i'm reviewing a BB Cream and i really like the container of this because it's spill-free and very secured which is one of the things i look for when it comes to makeup as i always put it in my bag just in case i need to look human or less pale. And although the label is not water-resistant, it has all the things you need to know about the product. Especially the ingredients. It has the same, if not, very similar scent with their Liquid Highlighter. But this smells milder since the highlighter is more concentrated than this one. It's not irritating on the nose, it's actually nice and suits my liking.
The consistency of this contributed a lot with how easy this is to apply because it's not like the typical BB Cream that you can find in stores as this is not thick nor heavy. Making it easier to apply even in thinner layer and very easy to spread evenly with just using your fingers. It's actually instructed to use fingers or a makeup sponge to spread / blend this with your skin but finger is enough. I know some people don't really prefer it because using fingers may leave some streaks on your face but since this one is very light so no need to worry about that. Having said that, it's very comfortable. Like nothing has been applied on the skin. That's how light it is. Not itchy and it didn't cause me any breakouts.
When it's being applied, it feels like moisturizer but it has a matte finish but not to the point that you will appear dry or patchy. I have a combination skin type but it really controlled the oily area but also moisturized the dry area without any appearance of dry patches which i normally have. It lasts around 5 hours or longer especially if you set it with powder but since i don't do that because i can't find a good powder that won't make me sneeze or have allergic reaction to.
Even though this doesn't have any shade range and some may think that the shade is too light for them but the most amazing thing about it is that it adjusts with the skin tone of the person wearing it. It may sound too good to be true but that's what it does! Otherwise, the brand would've released other shades right! Although you can't expect too much coverage from it as it's a BB Cream, not a Foundation. But for a BB Cream, the coverage is already good for me. It actually evens out my skin and somehow covers some of my blemishes. A perfect base for my no makeup makeup look as it looks very natural on. I also mix a little bit of highlighter with it before applying on my face sometimes for a dewy / glowing finish. This one is 30ml and retails for P150 / $3 (they also have other sizes and even a liter of this!). Definitely a must-have in the stash! 🙌
