This product is said to provide hydration to outer layers of the skin which control overall skin hydration, formed with moisture-concentrated hygroma with 119 ingredients including a selection of naturally derived black ingredients. An instantly hydrating and volumizing cream that keeps skin hydrated all day long without any greasiness.

HOW TO USE

After my morning and night routine, this is the last step. Using the slimmer side of the silicone spatula that comes with the kit, I scoop a little amount of the cream and put it on the back of my hand to distribute using my finger on my cheeks, forehead, nose, chin and neck before spreading it evenly with the wider side of the silicone spatula in an upward / outward motion and tapping it lightly using warm hands for better and faster absorption.

PROS

Starting with its packaging, I love it. It’s minimalist with just two of my favorite colors: Black and White which I really find classy. It came with a box too, although, it doesn’t have much The design is very simple yet pleasing to the eyes especially with some extra touch like the embossed logo of the brand on the cover of the tub and some other small details that they paid attention to that made the packaging look really nice. It came with a support or holder and a silicone spatula to use for easier scooping of the product which is unique as the consistency is not like any other cream I’ve ever tried before. The consistency is somewhat gel-type and becomes water-like when being massaged onto the skin and it really is as fascinating as it sounds. That is also what made me love about this cream because I’m very skeptical when it comes to creams due to my skin being prone to milia seeds that I’ve observed to be triggered by creams but seeing how light the consistency of this product is, I’m more than happy to use it and it can be spread evenly so easily. Also, before I proceed further, I just want to say that I’m in love with how this cream looks like; it’s black as well with some small black particles in it which looks a bit like powder but it’s very smooth on the skin. Moving on to its effects, the very first time I used this, I was blown away with how much hydration it gave my skin! It was EXTREME! But the most amazing part is the next morning, my skin feels so nice! It looked and felt refreshed, plump and supple too!

CONS

I didn’t have any irritation with this although it felt a tad bit sticky afterwards or maybe because I applied too much on that day but it goes away after a few minutes so it's alright. ♡

VERDICT

I really find this a very interesting product. It’s quite unique with its color and the presentation is bomb! I didn’t expect it to be big and comes with a lot of stuff that doesn’t usually come with creams. Neogen Code 9 is really putting so much effort even in the smallest things but it would’ve been nicer if they put more English translation on the box, especially regards the ingredients. I was able to get the ingredients in English on the Charis website because mostly are in Korean letters. Other than that, packaging is great. The price, on the other hand, is quite expensive if you ask me. I wouldn’t be up for a cream more than P1,000 / $20 but I think for this product, it’s worth it. The tub is huge and packed, a little goes a long way (so you also have to be careful, otherwise it would be a bit sticky) and you can tell that the product is really high quality. It delivers what it’s supposed to do and does wonders on the skin too! So if you’re looking for a good product and doesn’t mind the price, this is definitely what you should go for! I haven’t tried any product from this brand before but I’ve heard a lot of great reviews and they have a lot of most raved products by other people and since they just started on the right foot, I can’t wait to be able to try more from them because I really loved how it made my skin look and feel awesome! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
