/VERDICT/
These lip and cheek tints are really nice! Although the packaging isn’t waterproof, it has all the ingredients indicated and also the shades. Again, these are Cruelty-free and Certified Organic by Australian Chemist. Specified as well on the labels are the tint's base, whether it is water-based or gel-based. So here it says “Water Stain” and “Gel Stain” because they have both formulas to match your liking or preferred base.
Smell is sweet and almost fruity just like how most lip and cheek tints being sold by local brands smells like. But it doesn’t have any bitter taste to it which is good as it’s being applied near the mouth and sometimes, you accidentally taste the tints but this one is sweet and is made with safe ingredients so that you won’t have to worry.
Regarding application, it’s very effortless and can be done almost everywhere because of its roller and since it’s highly pigmented, you won’t need much. What i do is that i roll it a little on my lips and spread it evenly using my finger then apply on my cheeks the leftover tint on my finger so that i won’t waste any of the product. In terms of comfort, it’s very light on the lips and even though i kept using them everyday, it didn’t dry up my lips. Also, it didn’t cause any breakout on my cheeks so yay!
Its finish on the lips looks so natural looking but also buildable for a more opaque color. On the cheeks, the most natural looking for me is the shade “Peachy” which is also my favorite out of the 3 shades that i got. Although, i personally think it isn’t a gel stain. Supposedly, it should have the same consistency as the “Fuchsia” but as you can see on the swatch, it doesn’t. Instead, it looks very similar with “Dark Red”. I just thought of pointing it out and i think most of you will also notice especially those who have a collection of lip and cheek tints. But it doesn’t concern as much since the Water Stain and Gel Stain costs the same (P120 / $2.4 each).
They last for hours be it on the lips or cheeks even when i sweat profusely. These tints have a total of 7 shades which consists of 3 water and 4 gel stains which are all wearable with shades that suits all skin tones. It’s very affordable because one bottle can last for a few months and that’s no joke. If you’re collecting lip and cheek tints, these can be a nice addition to it. ♥
