/VERDICT/
The packaging is so cute! It really achieved the visuals of a popsicle! The labels has the brand name, product name, shade name, net weight and a note that says "shake well before using". It's not water-resistant but the labels are not low quality so it's alright! The only issue with it is that it doesn't have the ingredients on it which is the most important part but other than that, it's all good. And i love the different popsicle prints on it too! The container on the other hand is very secured and once opened, it has a stopper. It also has a little doe-foot applicator. The cap looked like a popsicle stick and the design actually made it easier to hold. The scent is familiar but smells nothing like any other lip makeup that i've tried before. It's not sweet yet mild. It somehow smells like the local branded apple juice in a pouch that kids used to bring in schools for recess. I used to bring some when i was younger too, but a different flavor because i don't like apples nor grapes but this smells good so it doesn't bother / concern me.
The application process is very smooth and effortless! One swipe is enough for my lips and a dot for my cheeks. It glides smoothly and easily blended on the skin with just the help of a finger! And also, the doe-foot applicator is the perfect size to reach even the most inner corner of your lips since it's a little smaller as compared to the normal size of a doe-foot applicator we usually see in the market. Which makes it more precise! Comfort is one of the most commendable thing about this product! It feels like nothing has been applied on either my lips or cheeks! That's how lightweight these creams are. It didn't trigger any of my nightmares also known as pimples and milia seeds on the parts that i tried applying them which is awesome! Because once those appeared on my skin, it's gonna take a while before they leave me alone! And that's the least that we want for a multi-functional makeup product such as these creams! Especially nowadays that we are so into such that we're able to ditch the traditional ones.
With regards its texture, i'm a bit surprised because it isn't like the usual creams that we know or tried! It's very different from them all! It's like in the middle of cream and water tint! I know it sounds weird but that's the most that i can do to explain the texture. The formula is very nice! Pigmented and buildable! Apply as you may. Be it natural looking or vibrant and opaque color payoff, you can definitely achieve both with this product. Also, it doesn't settle on the inner part of the lips which is our number one problem with the usual lip and cheek tints. There's only one thing that i've noticed, the shade Creamy Latte is a little watery as compared to the other two shades that i got which makes it look a little diluted. But nonetheless, still pigmented. And also, this dries up matte yet moisturizing. It also gives my cheeks a little less oily looking due its matte finish. It's transfer-proof, water-proof, smudge-proof and kiss-proof if you applied a thin layer of it and made sure that it really dried up completely, otherwise, it will have some minimal smudging, transferring and such. Whether one layer or more, these are still long lasting for me. I tested them when i went out on consecutive days and all shades stayed for at least 6 hours. And in that period of time, i still went drinking and eating carelessly to really see whether they can last long. Of course, after eating especially oily food, the inner part already faded but not so much. It was still presentable and no need for retouch.
It's definitely unique in all aspects and something that we still don't have in the market, indeed! These retails for P99 / $2 each and can last for 3-4 months depending on how often you use it, but once you tried it, it will be the first thing you always reach out for without even realizing! And with a total of 9 shades (they had 5 shades on their first release and recently released 4 new shades) which consist of purple, red, pink, brown shades, it would be impossible for you not to find the perfect shade! Moreover, the shades are all wearable so be it fair or morena, you'd be able to wear them! Out of all the three shades i got, my favorite is Creamy Latte for everyday and Red Velvet for date night! Strawberry Yogurt is also pretty but since i can't wear pink shades, i'm only able to use it as a blush for a rosy pink flush.
So if you're asking me whether this is worth it or not.. It surely is! The formula is unlike any other, therefore, it won't be a conflict with your other lip products in your collection / stash! And it is something new to try for a change! It's not your typical lip and cheek tint and you'll be able to attest to that once you've tried it!
