/VERDICT/
Its packaging is one of my most favourite part of this product. It’s very classy with the transparent cover with gold printing that matches the bottom container in nude beige container. It doesn’t come in a fancy box but it’s sealed with a tight plastic so that we’ll know that it’s new. The sticker at the bottom of the palette has information about it and some has translations in English. But there’s no ingredients indicated. Just the name of the colours and other details such as the expiry date, directions on how to use and brief description of the product. I also love how clean looking this product is and at the same time, very handy! It can easily fit into your back pocket or any purse you’re bringing! There’s no scent to it which is good that it doesn’t have the typical powder smell from eyeshadow palettes out there.
One of the easiest eyeshadow to apply is something you can expect from this palette. A few of it goes a long way so you don’t need that much product on your brush or finger when you apply it on the lids. It’s very easy to blend by tool or by hand that’s why out of all my eyeshadow palettes, this one is my favourite! Aside from that, as you all know, I don’t have any talent when it comes to doing makeup and eyeshadow is not an exception! I have been struggling with blending and making them even as my eyes are uneven as well. As for comfort, I have not been a fan of doing my eyes because, let’s face it, there’s only a few that doesn’t have falloffs and luckily, this palette is one of the few ones that doesn’t have the said con which makes it better for me to use since I also have allergies when it comes to powders (it gives me sniffles and causes me to sneeze nonstop all day long) hence, I’m hyper sensitive towards the mentioned material.
This is a very compact eyeshadow which made it more ideal for on-the-go makeup! It’s powder but highly pigmented like a cream shadow without the sticky feeling, how cool is that? It doesn’t have a chalky feeling to it nor was it patchy at all and since the powder is very fine, it glides smoothly on the lids or even my cheeks when I use one of the shades for contouring. When it comes to its longevity, this is something I couldn’t believe myself! It’s extremely long lasting; something I thought is not possible. Especially for someone who doesn’t know how to apply it properly, I don’t experience any eyeshadow that stayed with me as long as this one did. It lasted the whole event (which was more than 6 hours) and I couldn’t be happier.
Finding a palette that can give me all the pros and things I’ve always wanted and looking for in an eyeshadow palette was definitely a long process but worth it because this palette is small yet amazing! What’s more interesting is that is has a lot of variations and even though there’s just 6 shades in a palette, it consists of matte, shimmer and glitter types which is something you don’t get to see in such a travel-friendly sized palette. Another cool thing about this palette is that the names of the shades are inspired by alcoholic beverages and my favourite out of all the colours are Kahlua for contouring and Champagne / Bacardi for adding sparkle to my eyes!
This retails for P1,350 / $27 but since I’m a Charis Celeb, you can get it for only P820 / $16.4. And that’s 40% off just for you guys! And what’s more exciting is that, it’s directly from South Korea which means, it’s authentic! So if you are looking for a nice palette that you can bring anywhere and everywhere you go, I would definitely suggest this!
